About the '2 Hour Reality Check'

About this blog

This blog has been set up as a part of the Techxodus initiative. The objective of this blog is not just to share about the worship evening but to demonstrate that blogs ( short for Weblog ) are a wonder medium of communication, that leverages the power of the internet.

Techxodus is “Technology + Exodus”. I desire to share about Internet and Information Technology with Christian Ministries, Churches and the larger Christian Community across India. If there is one individual, group or organization that can be blessed by something I can do or share with them – then I feel my job is done. My belief is that we should use whatever Technology resources that are available with us to share the gospel.
This blog has been set up for free at Blogger.com, the photos have been uploaded to the site using free software called Hello – from a company called Picasa – both Blogger and Picasa are owned by Goolge. This was done using a dial-up Internet connection from Sify and my laptop – Toshiba Satellite 115.

All photos taken during the evening will eventually available here. I also intend to edit and touch-up some photos using Adobe Photoshop when I have time – crop, balance the light etc. I am a novice in using Photoshop – so volunteers are welcome, mail me if interested.

The photos were taken using a Cannon Powershot A40. In this 2.0 Mega pixels camera I use rechargeable batteries and a 256 Mb Memory Stick – just helps me soot as long and as much as I want. The best part is that the operational cost is next to nothing.

Setting up the entire blog took me a little more than an hour. In case you are seeing this blog, and you are interested to know more about blogging or how the Internet and IT can help you – pls mail me. Or if you know about a ministry or a Christian organization that needs some help with regard to the Internet – pls do let me know.

You can also mail me if you just curious to know more about Techxodus or want to be a part of it.

My mail id is anishblogs at yahoo dot com.

Please remember that I am not an expert or have not received any formal training – but will freely share all that I know and have learnt and help in any other manner that I can, during my spare time.

God bless you and have a wonderful day.
